Rohr defends invitation of Flying Eagles’ Utin and Ozornwafor

Super Eagles’ handler, Gernot Rohr has defended the inclusion of Flying Eagles duo of Ikouwem Utin and Valentine Ozornwafor in his provisional list for the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.

Rohr explained that he included Flying Eagles’ captain Utim and Ozornwafor knowing that the FIFA U-20 world cup in Poland would end on the 15th of June which would be six days before the official commencement of the Cup of Nations.
Ozornwafor and Utim are amongst six players on standby with the likes of Theophilus Afelokhai, Bryan Idowu Mikel Agu, and Junior Ajayi.
