FIFA world player of the year Cristiano Ronaldo achieved a milestone and set a new European record following his side’s victory over Bayern Munich tonight.
A brace from the Portuguese was enough to see Los Blancos come from a goal down to win and take the advantage ahead of the second leg in Madrid.
With both goals coming in the second half of the game Ronaldo officially now has 100 goals in European Club competition and becomes the first player to achieve that feat.
He has scored 97 Champions league goals, 2 UEFA super cup goals, 1 champions league qualifying goal.
