Jose Peseiro says his team has made progress in the past few weeks and they’ll continue working.
Peseiro oversaw back to back victories in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, including a 10-0 away win over Sao Tome and Principe on Monday.
The three time African Champions are now top of their qualifying group with maximum points from two games and the Portuguese expressed his delight with the progress made.
In a tweet, Wednesday, the 62 year-old trainer celebrated how well the team was shaping up to be.
“We achieved our goal of points won, grew as a group and conquered a historical record, always based on fundamental values: team spirit and mutual help.”
