Nigeria Professional Football League newcomers Remo Stars have strengthed their squad with the acquisition of midfielder Dayo Ojo.
The former Sunshine Stars and Enyimba of Aba midfielder became the first signing for new manager Gbenga Ogunbote who was appointed last month.
According to reports, Ojo signed a two-year deal with the Ogun State based team and he’s expected to bring his wealth of expertise and experience to the team.
Dayo Ojo was a member of Sunshine Stars team that got to the Semi Finals of the CAF Confederations Cup in 2011 and the CAF Champions League in 2012.
He represented Nigeria at U-17 and U20 level and earned five caps for the Home based Super Eagles.
Remo star gained promotion back to the Premier League division after back in September after finishing second in Group A of NNL Super Eight in Enugu.
