Watford have confirmed winger Samuel Kalu will miss Sunday’s Championship clash against Hull City at Vicarage Road.
The Club in a statement on its website revealed that Kalu is currently down with an ankle injury and will spend some time out.
“Picking up an ankle injury against Wigan Athletic in October and playing through pain leading up to the break in fixtures, Samuel Kalu has been recovering over the last month,” Watford wrote on their official webpage.
“The Nigerian forward needs more time before a return to action.”
Kalu has struggled for form and injury since joining the Championship club from Girondins Bordeaux.
Meanwhile his international teammate, William Troost-Ekong is expected to be involved in the game.
