Super Falcons camp boosted by arrival of foreign based professionals

The camp of the Super Falcons has been boosted by the arrival of Foreign-based professionals, as the team gear up preparation towards next month’s 11th Women Africa Cup of Nations finals in Ghana.

In the Jubilee Chalets and Resort, Camp in Epe Lagos are 15 home based and nine foreign-based professionals as on Wednesday.

 

The likes of Charity Adule, Chinwendu Ihezuo, Osinachi Ohale, Josephine Chukwunonye, Rita Chikwelu, Ogonna Chukwudi, Ebere Orji, Chinaza Uchendu and Faith Michael were at the morning training session, while Ngozi Okobi and Halimat Ayinde arrived the country on Wednesday.

 

The Thomas Dennerby side will play an exhibition game against Dominion Hotspur FC on Thursday and its the first friendly game since opening camp two weeks ago.

 

Nigeria who are aiming to defend the title they won in Cameroon two years ago will face South Africa, Kenya, and Zambia in Group B of the 11th Women Africa Cup of Nation.
