Nigeria’s Men basketball team, D’Tigers, Thursday arrived the country after their exploits at the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China.
The Alex Nwora tutored side wrapped up their outing in China on an impressive note despite starting slowly with defeats to Russia and Argentina.
D’Tigers defeated Korea in their third game and Subsequently accounted for Ivory coast and hosts China in classification games, to pick up an automatic qualification ticket for next year’s Olympic Games.
The team will now take part at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, for the third consecutive time, following up their appearances in 2012 and 2016.
