Midfielder Austin Oladapo is delighted to see Enyimba grind out a victory over Katsina United, but advised his teammates focus on the tittle race.
Oladapo scored a trademark long range effort to put the People’s Elephants ahead, but an unfortunate own goal from Somari Alalibo restored the parity for the visitors.
However, Chukwuemeka Obioma netted a penalty in the 68th minute to seal for the victory for the Finidi George’s men and it was enough to lift them to fourth position on the table — three points behind joint leaders, Rivers United and Remo Stars.
In a chat with brila.net, the midfielder stated that, he’s happy with the performance, but insisted the title race is still wide open and urged his teammates to stay focus.
“It was a good performance from the lads. we have to keep the focus because the title race is still far and i feel good to be on the score sheet and as well” he told brila.net.
