Tobi Amusan Secures Third Diamond League Title

After a disappointing performance at the World Championships, Tobi Amusan bounced back with an outstanding display at the Diamond League Prefontaine Classic held at Hayward Field.

Amusan claimed her third consecutive title in the women’s 100m hurdles, leaving her poor showing behind.

 

 

She started the race with great determination, getting out strong and maintaining her lead after the third hurdle.

Despite facing a formidable field, the Nigerian crossed the finish line in a season-best time of 12.33 seconds.

Tobi Amusan left no doubt about her dominance in the event. Her exceptional performance not only secured her the victory but also highlighted her ability to overcome setbacks and deliver when it matters most.

Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico proved to be a hard-charging contender, finishing second with a time of 12.38 seconds.

American athlete Kendra Harrison claimed the third position, crossing the line in 12.44 seconds.

Meanwhile, the world champion Danielle Williams from Jamaica finished fourth with a time of 12.47 seconds.
