Outgone Secretary General of the Nigeria Olympic Committee Hon.TundPopoola has stated that he was left satisfied with his tenure as Secretary general of the Nigeria Olympic Committee and the discharge of his duties within the eight-year period that he served.
Popoola who handed over to a new Secretary general on Monday told www.brila.net that he expects the new Secretary general to consolidate on a number of his achievement for the NOC.
Meanwhile, President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee Engr. Habu Gumel has called on corporate Nigeria to come to support the NOC and Federations ahead of preparation for the 2019 All Africa Games.
Gumel speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the NOC have their programs drafted already and would only get things underway as soon as the fund is available although stated that the ministry have also assured to have fund released on their own part.
Engr. Habul Gumel recently won his re-election as the President of the Nigeria Olympic committee for another term of 4 years and have stated that he hopes to achieve more this term.
