Nigeria international Tyronne Ebuehi has completed his move to Empoli ahead of the new season.
Empoli confirmed the deal via their website, Tuesday, and the player penned a three deal with the Club.
The defender arrived from Portuguese giants SL Benfica, the club he joined from Ado Den Haag in 2018.
His time at Benfica wasn’t great as he spent nine months on the treatment table after damaging his Achilles in 2019 and spent the following season on loan at FC Twente.
In the summer of 2021, he arrived at Venezia in another loan deal and he played 19 Serie A games for the club, but unfortunately he couldn’t help them avoid relegation.
Ebuehi was among three new signings confirmed by Empoli, Martin Satriano and Razvan Marin are the other two.
