Flamingos defender Blessing Emmanuel has stated that Wednesday’s opponents, Colombia, will be a difficult nut to crack.
The Flamingos will have their hands full against Colombia, who defeated Tanzania in the quarter final last Saturday.
“There is higher expectations in the camp because we have worked hard in training, God saw us through the quarter final, and we are sure he’ll see us through,” The player told NFF TV ahead of the game.
“We have watched the Colombians, they are just tough to beat, they are stronger as well and for them to have gotten to the semi-finals is a prove that, they are equally good.”
Emmanuel however believes Nigeria will carry the day.
“With what we have done in training, especially what the coaches have taught us, I’m confident we’ll carry the day,” He concluded.
Both side will clash at the Fatorda Stadium, 12pm Nigerian time.
