Umar Sadiq said he can’t wait to make his debut in the Spanish topflight division with Almeria.

The 25-year-old played an important role in UD Almeria’s promotion to Spanish La Liga, after five seasons in the Segunda B.

Sadiq netted 18 goals and registered six assists for his teammates as the Rojiblancos emerged the 2021-2022 Champions.

“We played well and deserved to be Champions. We really worked hard and I’m happy we achieved our aim.

“For me playing in La Liga is like a dream come true. Finally, we [Almeria] got the ticket and I can’t wait,” He said.

Meanwhile, the lanky forward is reportedly wanted by Clubs in Germany and Spain, but Almeria insists the former Glasgow Rangers man staying with them.
