Victor Moses edges closer to Spartak Moscow move

Former Super Eagles winger Victor Moses is edging closer to a loan move to Russian side Spartak Moscow, according to reports.

The Nigerian returned to Chelsea after the end of his loan spell with Italian giants Inter Milan who passed on the chance to sign him on a permanent basis.

Moses who made 20 appearances for Inter Milan in all competitions despite joining in the second half of last season, is currently training on his own at Chelsea after manager Frank Lampard revealed he’s not counting on him for the season.

However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, revealed Spartak Moscow is in touch with the player and Chelsea for a move as the Russian transfer window is still open.

He added that Moses is interested in playing in Russia after failing to secure a deal with Inter Milan.

The 29-year-old joined the Chelsea in January 2013 but has spent most of his time on loan from the Club.
