Tom Dele-Bashiru says he is glad to be back to full fitness and he’s now focusing on taking his game to the next level.
The Nigerian midfielder recently returned to training with Watford after recovering from knee injury that sidelined him for ten months.
The 22-year-old was involved in Watford’s pre season game against Crystal Palace and also found the back of the net in the game.
Speaking on his return to full fitness, The former Flying Eagles anchorman said : “It was a great feeling being back out there again, doing what I love.”
“These past 10 months have been really difficult. I’ve been working really hard in the gym, trying to improve myself day-by-day so that I can get back out on the pitch.” he told the Club’s website.
On his expectations for the coming season, The all round action midfielder said, he want to help his team with goals and assists.
“The type of player I want to be, I want to score goals and assist goals, so it was a good feeling to score on my return after such a long time out.” he said.
