Spartak Moscow official Dmitry Zelenov insists Victor Moses won’t be allowed to leave the club while hailing the Nigerian as the best in his position.
Moses has been in scintillating form for the Russian giants, winning the man of the match twice last month.
Victor Moses played three league matches this season, finding the back of the net twice to help the team to second place on the Russian League table.
However, bookmakers tip the former Chelsea and Liverpool man to exit the club this summer, following the sanction imposed on Russian Football by FIFA, after the Country’s government invaded Ukraine.
Reports had earlier claimed refused to turn up for pre-season training in a bid to force a move back to England.
Zelenov who is Spartak Moscow’s spokesperson dismissed the rumor while speaking with a Russian outlet Championat.
“You are operating on rumors. I have talked about this many times and I will say it again: the current situation, the situation does not give us a guarantee for any player, except for the Russians.”
“We are glad that there is such a player in Spartak. We saw what shape Moses got, and how great he plays. We now want to talk about Moses in a football way. Moses is one of the best, if not the best, in his position in the RPL,” the Spartak Moscow spokesperson explained.
Meanwhile, Moses has two-year left on his contract with Spartak Moscow. He joined the club in a permanent deal from Chelsea.
