Coach Biffo of Kwara United says his side has to stay be consistent if they want to achieve their aim of finishing in the top three.
The Harmony enjoyed a good spell at the top of the table in the first stanza of the campaign, but a run of three games without a win in the restart saw them slip down the table.
The team successfully ended the poor run of results with a 3-0 success over Jigawa Golden Stars this Sunday and it was enough to help return to the top three.
Speaking on the recent form, Abdullahi Biffo noted the team has to be consistent and live up to expectations in order to keep their target on track.
“This is the best way for the team to wake up from its slumber, as I always tell people, it is a marathon race you just have to give your best any day you can’t give your best today and next match you slow down. it’s going to affect you on the log” the gaffer said.
The former Katsina United boss will lead his wards to Nnewi where they will face FC Ifeanyi Ubah in their next match and he is expecting the boys to learn from their mistakes and rise up to the occasion.
“Every team has up and down. I think for us to get it right in this match shows that we have realized our mistakes, tried to correct them, and make use of our chances. If we continue this way we can still go to where we were in the first round” Biffo concluded.
