Ademola Lookman’s future at RB Leipzig Uncertain

Super Eagles of Nigeria winger Ademola Lookman will return to his parent club RB Leipzig FC for next season.

Lookman spent entire 2021-2022 campaign with Leicester City, and he scored nine goals in all competitions for the Foxes.

Leicester City however have not contacted Leipzig over a permanent deal and the German Bundesliga Club is now expecting the Player to resume pre-season training with them next week.

It was also gathered that Leipzig’s gaffer Domenico Tedesco is convinced the Nigerian still has a future in Germany, despite spending the last two years on loan at Fulham and Leicester City, due to lack of playing time.

Lookman has been linked with a move to several clubs in Europe top five leagues, but he is yet to be released by the German Bundesliga giants.

Meanwhile Crystal Palace, Fulham FC and Lazio have been linked with interests, but it is unclear where the Nigeria international will play his football next season.

Ademola Lookman signed for Leipzig permanently from Everton in 2022 in a deal that worth £16m.
