Former Nigeria international Victor Agali has hailed current Super Eagles sensational forward Kelechi Iheanacho after his latest record-breaking goal in Leicester’s 2-1 loss at Chelsea following his introduction in the second half of the clash at Stamford bridge.
Agali speaking in a chat with brila.net extolled the run and record-breaking feat of the former Manchester City player who has now scored in all days of the week this season after scoring on Tuesday night. He also added that he hopes to see the Leicester City forward continue his impressive run of form culminating in UEFA champions league qualification at the end of the season.
“It’s a good thing for Iheanacho, it’s a good way for our players to end the league. It’s positive for him to finish the league very well, he can go to relax and come back and prepare for the new season. For Iheanacho he is sure to stay and if they make it to the champions league then it’s positive for them. We will see him that way until otherwise.”
