Nigerian international Calvin Bassey was voted as Glasgow Rangers’ best young player for the 2021-2022 campaign.
The defender won an award at the Rangers end of the season award held on Sunday.
Bassey broke into the first team this season and he’s currently one of the untouchables in the squad.
The 22-year-old has been fantastic for Rangers this season and has made a total of 43 appearances for the Scottish side across all competitions.
According to statistics expert CIES Football Observatory, the left-back is the best Scottish Premiership air blocker playmaker, because of his ability to play from the back.
He has also chipped in with five (5) assists for the Gers this season from his defensive position.
