Deontay Wilder Aims Upper Cut at Anthony Joshua

WBC Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder swung at Anthony Joshua when the former announced his fight deal with Linear Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury on social media.

Wilder not one to hide his disdain for an evasive Joshua after the two hottest properties in the Heavyweight division still couldn’t agree a fight, hyped up his latest opponent – Fury.

He did not pass up the chance to aim a subtle dig at the unified heavyweight world champion with innuendos for Joshua and praise for the returning Fury.

The Wilder-Fury fight was officially agreed on Friday night and it will take place on Saturday, 1 December.

Contracts have been signed with the venue for the bout, expected to be in the United States, announced next week.

A delighted Wilder took to twitter and went thus:

Well, just signed my portion of the contract for the Wilder versus Tyson fight, it is officially on ladies and gentlemen, this fight is definitely on and I can’t wait men; it’s going to be a sign fight, it’s going an explosive fight.

It’s going to be a fight for the legacy, definitely one for my legacy. You’ve got the WBC champion of the world versus the Linear champion. And it’s going to be a pleasure, the two best heavyweights competing against each other; the best fighting against the best, giving the people what they want and this is what we’re doing.

I just beat in my opinion, one of the best heavyweights in Luiz Ortiz and now I’m going for the next best in the heavyweight division and ain’t nobody doing this sh*t. Announcement next week baby, let’s go Bomb squad!

He also captioned the 0.58 seconds video :

It just gotten a little bit #WILDER
