Dogo calls for stable NPFL calendar after new date for second half resumption

Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Lobi stars Kabir Dogo has called on the League Management Company of Nigeria to work out modalities to ensure a stable calendar for the league after passing a new resumption date for clubs in the league from 18th April to 28th April 2021.

Dogo speaking in a chat with brila.net said while clubs and coaches may have been used to the unpredictable nature of the league calendar in Nigeria, it still doesn’t justify the act of constantly changing dates as this affects planning at the various clubs with the players, coaches, and administrators.

He thereafter added that he prays the new date comes to fruition as released.

“If you look at our calendar anything can happen at any time, we know the system so have a look at the last time we stopped and the initial date of resumption 18th we couldn’t give any serious break for the players. An unstable calendar is affecting everybody but we are used to it. I just pray that the new date of 28th is a reality.”
