Dr. Larry Izamoje Honoured As A Fellow of NIS

The Chairman of Brila Media, Dr. Larry Izamoje, has been conferred with an honorary fellowship at the 8th convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Sports, Lagos, for his outstanding work in promoting sports in the country.

During the ceremony, former Green Eagles captain, Chief Dr Segun Odegbami was also honoured alongside the Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare.

 

Sir Adebutu Kessington and businesswoman, Mrs Modupeola Olawale.

 

 

The broadcast veteran spoke on the importance of the award and hopes that others can take lessons.

“Well it is encouraging, and they have underlined by this award, the little contributions we have been able to make to Nigerian sports.

“We want to believe this will cause others to aspire to this kind of recognition and inspire even those who have passed through this institution to try and beat what we have been able to do.”

The honour was conferred for the very first time in the institution’s 49-year history and on the occasion of its 8th convocation ceremony.

A total of 530 graduands were certificated across various departments in a combined event involving the class of 2019 through to 2022.
