D’tigers coach Mike Brown agrees four-year deal with Sacramento Kings

The head coach of Nigeria’s senior male basketball team Mike Brown is close to becoming the new coach of NBA side Sacramento Kings.

Brown who also works as the assistant of Golden State Warriors is said to have reached an agreement with the Kings for a four-year contract.

Negotiation between Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors progressed well and he could be announced as the franchise’s next coach.

The Kings finalized a deal with Brown on Sunday after meeting with him over two days late last week, sources said.

However, the coach will finish the Warriors’ playoff run before moving on to his full-time duties with the Kings, sources said.

Meanwhile, it is unclear if his new job will allow him to continue his role as the head coach of D’Tigers.
