Enyimba will defeat Raja Casablanca in Aba, boasts Sunday Adetunji

The People Elephants are aiming to edge the Moroccans to reach the finals and striker Sunday Adetunji is confident of a first leg win in Aba, Nigeria.

Enyimba’s Sunday Adetunji believes his Nigeria Professional Football League side have all it takes to defeat Raja Casablanca in the first leg of their Federation Cup semifinal tie in Aba.

Ahead of the first leg in Aba, the striker, who inspired the People Elephants to the last eight, is hoping they can subdue the Moroccan side in the front of their fans to have an advantage before the second leg.

The forward stated emphatically that Enyimba will beat Raja Casablanca ahead of today’s encounter at the Enyimba stadium Aba notwithstanding the pedigree of the Moroccan side.

Adetunji revealed to Brila FM’s Yinka Oyedele that the People’s Elephant have worked well enough to study their opponent and have also done well in training to prepare for the match stressing that for Enyimba.

“We just want to win well to have a decent advantage from the first leg” The player stated confidently.

Raja met Enyimba in the 2011  CAF Champions League, with the Nigerians beating them 2-0 in Aba before securing a goalless draw in Casablanca.

Enyimba will face the Moroccan giants over two legs on October 3 and 24, after Raja defeated CARA Brazzaville 3-1 on aggregate.
