Duke Udi has ripped into Ladan Bosso for disrespecting and undermining Finidi George, Eddy Dombraye and other coaches who are trained abroad.
Recalled, Bosso who is the President, Nigerian coaches association stated that UEFA license isn’t sufficient to excel in the Nigeria Professional Football and insisted that Finidi George and Eddy Dombraye should have understudied coaches in the league before taking up the number one position on the bench.
The former Flying Eagles manager made this disclosure following the sacking of Eddy Dombraye from Lobi Stars and Enyimba’s current run of form under the watch of Finidi George.
And reacting to the Bosso’s comments, Duke Udi, said he’s shocked to hear that from a respected figure, before hitting back.
“I’m short of words that Ladan Bosso could open his mouth and say such things, he told www.brila.net.
“It was disrespectful not just to Finidi George and Eddy Dombraye, but to ex internationals who spent their money to get coaching certificates abroad .”
“You are disrespecting them because you are coaches association president of Nigeria or what?
“What he said is disgraceful and respectful to these guys. He shouldn’t have allowed that to come out of his mouth. That’s ridiculous”
“For example, people just talk because of small position. This is the same person that said Yobo is qualified to Coach Super Eagles without certificates and other things,”
“So if Yobo is qualified to Coach Super Eagles, why are the other guys not qualified to Coach local teams?
“After playing at the highest level in Europe and still obtained badges there, you still think they aren’t good enough to be number one here.”
“Well, he did not play to that level and that’s why he’s saying all sort of things.” He concluded.
