Lokomotiv Plovdiv ground out a narrow 1-0 win at home against CSKA Sofia in the Parva Liga on Sunday, with Super Eagles duo Steven Eze and Viv Solomon-Otabor going head to head.
Eze played all 90 minutes, but Solomon-Otabor was replaced on the restart, but there was no clear indication if the forward had picked up an injury.
Plovdiv are now three places behind league leaders Ludogorets on 29 points, while CSKA Sofia lost further pace on the leaders with a seven-point deficit between them and Sunday’s opponent.
