Former Nigeria international basketball player and Vice Chairman of the Lagos State Basketball Association Olumide Oyedeji has frowned at the goalpost shifting mechanism employed by the leadership of the Musa Kida led Nigeria Basketball Federation following the latter’s correspondence to the Federation of International Basketball Association citing government interference after the Nigeria Ministry of Youths and Sports overruled the planned elective congress of the NBBF.
Oyedeji speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the leadership of the NBBF had enjoyed the support of the Ministry of Youths and Sports in the past and have now decided to be at logger heads with the organ of Government that aided them to office in 2017 just when they realised the ministry isn’t on their side again.
