Iheanacho wants to continue making Impact at Leicester City

Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho is happy to be back in Leicester City squad again after failing to make any appearance in the Foxes first 13 league matches.

Iheanacho made his first league appearance of the season when the Foxes hosted Everton two weeks ago.

 

The former Manchester City forward was handed his first league start of the campaign at Villa Park on Sunday, and played for got an hour before he was replaced.

 

Iheanacho scored twice and also got two assist in the two games as Leicester City set a new club-best for consecutive top-flight wins.

 

Iheanacho has also scored in the Carabao Cup wins over Luton and Burton, making it four goal in four matches dor the Club this season and the player said he’s satisfied with his Impact in the sqaud.

 

“On a personal level, I’m excited, scoring again and assisting Jamie [Vardy], so I just need to keep going and keep the level up, working hard in training to make sure I keep my head up,” he said on the Villa win.”

 

“It was a great performance from the whole team. I think we were all over them. We stuck to our plan and got spaces all over the place and we got the goals so it’s brilliant.”
