” I’m fine at Napoli,” says Victor Osimhen

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has denied reports of a possible move away from the club this summer.

Osimhen is a hero at Napoli, having scored 18 goals last season, several clubs have made inquiries about his availability.

Napoli have always been reluctant to sell the player who is valued at £80+ million.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Spurs have been credited with interest in Osimhen, who has three years left on his contract.

The player however set the record straight, saying he’ll remain at Napoli for the season and called the reports as nothing but rumor.

“Just rumours. I’m in Napoli. I have great respect for my club. I’m fine here and I’ve never had such close relationships with everyone as at this moment,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

Osimhen signed for the Partenopei from Ligue 1 side, Lille Metropole two-years ago.
