Kelechi Iheanacho continued his build-up to the new season with a poacher’s goal in Leicester City’s 1-1 draw against Valencia on Wednesday at the King Power Stadium.
Iheanacho showed the instincts of a poacher, positioning himself impeccably to benefit from a goal mouth scramble to fire the Foxes ahead just 11 minutes inside the first-half.

However, seven minutes later the hosts were pegged back by the Liga side through Daniel Parejo, after Los Che applied some pressure on the Leicester defence.
It was yet another valuable building process for the striker, who returned from a lackluster World Cup outing. And the player himself admitted in his tweet after the game.

The Nigeria international, who also scored in the 2-1 defeat to Udinese, tweeted: “Work in progress ⚽️✅” as he looks to his second season at the King Power.
