Leicester City recoups ‘Massively’ on Ahmed Musa’s Transfer to Saudi Club

Saudi Pro League side, Al-Nassr have announced the signing of Ahmed Musa on a 4-year deal from Leicester City.

Musa, who joined Leicester from Russian side CSKA Moscow for a then club record fee of £16million, left the English Premier League after two seasons, where he struggled to hold down a first team berth.

The forward spent the last six months of his contract on-loan at CSKA, before a decent World Cup outing with Nigeria.

Al-Nassr announced the acquisition on Thursday in a tweet:

#ALNASSR signed a four year contract with Nigerian left winger and former @LCFC player Ahmed Musa @Ahmedmusa718, welcome to the Global Club Ahmed!

Meanwhile, Leicester City are set to recoup massively from the Musa deal, as Al-Nassr will, reportedly, pay the PL club £25million [plus add-ons].

Musa joins Morocco international Nordin Amrabat, who moved to the Peninsula from Watford this summer.

The Nigeria international is expected to arrive Saudi Arabia, Friday for the completion of the move before proceeding to Switzerland where he joins up with his new teammates in pre-season.
