After sealing a historic qualification for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, the Madagascar national team were reward by the President of the Island nation, but what the team has done with the largess will blow your mind.
Madagascar qualified as second best team; behind Senegal in Group A, and being the first time to ever reach the Africa Cup of Nations, the Barea were handed a cash reward of Ar 100,000,000 ($29,000 or ₦10,527,000) by President Rivo Rakotova.
But rather than keep the money and share among themselves, the players in turn showed appreciation to the fans by donating the entire money to an educational institution.

The Afcon is the first major continental competition the senior Men’s team have qualified for, and most of the players are with lower division French teams, a handful play in Africa.
