Ndidi out of Super Eagles friendly with Algeria

Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is out of Super Eagles squad that will face Algeria’s Desert Foxes on Tuesday.

Ndidi is injured has since left the team’s camp and returned to England, NFF confirmed this morning.

“Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is injured and out of the game against Algeria. He has left the team’s camp and returned to England. Get well soon Wilfred,” the short statement on NFF official handle reads.

The player arrived the camp on Monday and took part in practice session, before picking the injury.

Ndidi also missed the last African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome back in June, die to injury.

It remains to be seen if Coach Jose Peseiro will call up a replacement for the 25 year-old.
