Home-based Super Eagles player John Lazarus has stated that the domestic national team players have shifted focus to the West Africa Football Union nations cup billed to start this weekend in Senegal.
Lazarus speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team have to put behind them the disappointment of the 4-1 loss in Togo and focus on dwelling well in the next assignment which is ensuring they put in their best to do well for Nigeria.
“It’s another great opportunity for us to showcase our talent and to make Nigerians proud despite everything that has been happening the losing the winning. We have to put everything behind us just to make sure that we get the best. I think by his grace we are going to do well.”
