Former D’Tigers captain Olumide Oyedeji has stated that the only thing that would bring sanity into the Nigerian basketball family is a new beginning.
Speaking exclusively to brila.net, Oyedeji disclosed that a new election will enshrine peace and sanity into the family of Nigeria basketball in drafting everybody together and void of differences.
He also noted that the family is divided until they have an all-inclusive federation – the Nigeria basketball family will remain divided.
“The only thing that can bring everyone together is a new beginning for Nigeria basketball because the family is divided, we need an inclusive federation, if not, the Nigeria basketball will remain divided
“What will bring us together is to forget about the past and move forward, losers dwell about the past and winners plan the future, let’s plan the future of Nigeria basketball, if you want the top to shine, what about the root?, so that’s all, I won’t talk much,” he said.
