NPFL players were in town on Wednesday to pay their last respect as Chinedu Udoji was finally laid to rest in his hometown Igbariam, Anambra State.
Udoji’s best friend Abdul Razak Aliu, Ugwu Uwadiagu, Christian Madu, Mfon Udoh, Chima Amafor, Emmanuel Anyanwu and coach Friday Christopher were at the burial of the former Enyimba Captain.

As part of the recognition for his dedication towards the success of Kano Pillars, the government of Kano State gave his family three million Naira as they prepared for the Footballers’ burial.
Udoji died last month in a car crash in Kano.
