Super Eagles Midfielder Kelechi Nwakali scored a brilliant goal for Ponferradina against Real Zaragoza in Sunday’s Spanish Segunda B clash.

The Midfielder scored from 25 yards to send the Club’s traveling fans into wild jubilation.

With Ponferradina trailing going into the half time break, the Nigeria international received a pass from full back Adrián Diéguez and pushed forward a bit before unleashing a powerful drive that flew to the top corner of the post, with the goalkeeper motionless.

The goal was his first of the season since joining La Ponfe, and he has featured in five games, providing one assist.

In addition, on the day, the 24-year-old also made three key passes, had five successful dribbles and seven long passes completed.

It was Nwakali’s arguably best performance of the season, but not enough to earn his side a point as Zaragoza dug deep to win the game 2-1.
