Okon outlines Falcons chances at 2019 FIFA Women’s World cup

Former Super Falcons coach, Edwin Okon has outlined the chances of the Super Falcons in their group ahead of the FIFA 2019 women’s world cup in France, stating that he has unwavering confidence in the players to deliver against their group opponents.

The Super Falcons are getting set for the 8th FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in France, starting on 7th June. The Falcons will play Norway in Reims on Saturday, 8th June in their first match of the championship.

Speaking with www.brila.net, Okon also added that both France and Norway are very good sides, but are also beatable.

As coach, I have confidence in the players because I always pass that same confidence on the pitch for any match I want to play, and I think by the special grace of God, no team is unbeatable”.

“We can as well beat any team, following the preparation…. France would not be a problem, they are a problem because they will try all they can to see if they can get the better of Nigeria”.

“We on our part, we will do our best, not just France, Norway and France are both good sides”.

“At this level, I see a very good chance for us (Falcons) to qualify from that group”.
