Enugu Rangers coach Yusuf Salisu has stated that the Flying Antelopes are ready for the challenge of the new league season as they get their 2020/21 NPFL campaign underway against Rivers united Wednesday in Port Harcourt.
Salisu speaking in a chat with brila.net said his team like every other team have prepared well for the campaign and are well aware of the little edge their host may have built as regards match fitness having played a couple of matches on the continent but stressed that his side will nonetheless be equal to the challenge of facing the Stanley Eguma tutored side.
“We are ready like any other team now, we are ready for the league. The league has started, they started earlier than most of the other teams but I think what is important is to do the right thing at the right moment. We know they started ahead of us but Football is all about creating moments and taking advantage of such moments.”
