Coach of Nigeria National League side Shooting stars sports club of Ibadan Edith Agoye has stated that his side are not getting carried away at all with their blistering run in the NNL regular season.
Agoye speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that having had series of disappointment at the Super 8 where it matters in previous seasons are still keeping their cool on qualification bids for the Premier League and will simply focus for now solely on gaining qualification for the Super 8 after which fresh bid for promotion to the NPFL will be launched.
“We’ve had experience in the super 8 which is not a very pleasant one and I want to assure people that we have reviewed that. We are stronger because of our disappointment in the Super 8 and we want to take things a step at a time. First and foremost we want to gain qualification to the Super 8 after which we will see how we cross the bridge when we get there.”
