Super Eagles Practise Penalties ahead of Angola Clash

The Eagles have been practising penalties Assistant Coach, Imama Amapakabo has hinted ahead of the team’s quarter-final match against Angola in the CHAN tournament.

Nigeria qualified from group C scoring four goals and conceding one, but Sunday’s opponent have not been free scoring in Morocco but boast one of the best defence.

Angola only managed a goal in three group stage matches and have let none in, finishing in runner-up spot behind Congo.

 

Nonetheless, the Eagles technical crew are leaving no stone upturned Amapakabo told Chidozie Okorojie on Brila FM’s show, Sports Square.

‘We’ve have considered every likely scenario in the knockout stage of the CHAN. The technical crew have tactical meetings and we also assign responsibilities to the players.

‘What I can assure is that we have every 23 player in team fit and ready for Sunday.’
