Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong will sit out Udinese’s Serie A clash against Inter Milan at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday.
The defender is ruled out the game against Antonio Conte’s men following the injury he sustained while on international duty with Nigeria.
Udinese boss Igor Tudor then omitted defender from his matchday squad after failing to shake off the knock in training.
Troost-Ekong was substituted against the Ukrainians three minutes to the end of the match.
Meanwhile, another Nigerian in the team Stefano Chukwuka Okaka was also left out of the team.
