Former Manchester United defender, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, has been identified as a candidate to replace Super Eagles star Ola Aina at Torino.

Aina is yet to sign a contract extension with the Italian outfit, fueling rumour that the player could leave this summer.

The former Chelsea star has been linked with possible return to English football where he made his name before joining Torino.

Crystal Palace, Fulham and relegated Leeds United are said to be interested in the versatile full back.

However, Torino have now lined up Fosu-Mensah as possible replacement, but they’re not the only team interested in a deal.

Leverkusen, according to Sky in Germany, want around £2.8m for the 25-year-old, who they signed for in the region of £1.3m.

Dutchman, Fosu-Mensah joined Bayer Leverkusen in January 2021, playing 181 minutes in 11 Bundesliga outings.
