Nasarawa United Head Coach Bala Nikyu hinted that the target of the team is to be among the top five teams this season.
The Solid Miners are currently fifth on the log with 23 points after 14 round of matches.
Speaking on Nasarawa United’s overall performance so far this season, Coach Bala Nikyu said although his team has unlucky in some matches, he is happy with what they have been able to achieve so far.
The veteran coach also admitted that they can do better by winning the next match against Sunshine Stars and Katsina United.
“As far as this league is concerned this season, I can beat my chest and say that I have good players.”
“We lost some games due to ill luck and not that we don’t play well. The next few games are winnable and we will fight to get points from it.”
