Fatai Osho leaves Rivers United days after losing title

Fatai Osho has resigned from his position as the assistant coach of Rivers United.

Osho, on Tuesday, announced his resignation, 48 hours after the team lost their league title to Enyimba FC.​

 

 

The Coach also resigned in the middle of last season after a rift with the Club’s management, but was persuaded to return after the issue was resolved.

“I want to thank the entire Rivers United FC management, staff and coaching crew for my stay in this great club.”

“It has been a worthwhile experience and a memorable one at that as I resign my position as the Chief Coach of this great club,” He wrote on his Twitter handle.​

Osho joined the Pride of Rivers two years ago after leaving Enyimba, and he helped the team win their first evevr league title that season.
