Kano Pillars forward Nyima Nwagua says the arrival of Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa will bring confidence and swagger to the team.
Musa returned to Kano Pillars for his second stint on Tuesday, 9 years after leaving the club for Dutch Eredivisie side VV Venlo.
The experience forward however signed a contract with Kano Pillars until the end of the season and will be involved in only home matches.
Musa’s return to the Nigeria professional football league has dominated headlines as many lovers of the NPFL believe he’s a valuable addition to the league and Kano Pillars as a club.
In a chat with brila.net, Nyima who is Kano Pillar’s established first-choice striker said the squad is happy to have Musa in their midst.
He added that his arrival will bring more confidence to the squad and also pushed them to the next level.
” It means a lot to have him here with us, with his experience and the fact that he is the captain of the national team, that alone will bring more confidence to the team”.
“We are happy to have him here, hopefully, we can win together matches together,” he told brila.net.
