Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen was on parade for his French side Lille Metropole in their league clash with Olympique Lyonnaise.

The Nigerian played the entire duration of the game as Lille recorded an hard fought 1-0 win over Olympique Lyon in Sunday’s Ligue 1 encounter at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

 

The Christophe Galtier’s men had former Chelsea forward Loic Remy to thank as he scored the only goal of the game in the 35th minutes of the first-half.

 

Remy was set up by Jonathan Bamba and the French striker made no mistake as he fired past goalkeeper Anthony Lopes for his seventh goal against the visitors.

 

Lille sit in fourth position with 49 points from 28 games – 19 points below leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
