Josh Maja was on target for Bordeaux in Monday night’s French Ligue 2 game against Stade Lavallois.
The young forward scored one of the goals as Bordeaux edged the hosts 2-1 to continue their impressive run of form.

Maja put Bordeaux ahead just five minutes into the encounter.
Bordeaux went into the break with the advantage, but it became all square six minutes after the restart, no thanks to Julien Maggiotti’s equalizer for Stade Lavallois.
Bordeaux however put the set back behind and regauned their lead in the 69th minute, through Alberth Elis.
The goal proved to be the last of the game and Bordeaux players walked off the pitch with their heads high.
Bordeaux moves to the top of the table with 20 points after 10 games and are ahead of second placed Amiens on superior goals difference.
