Victor Osimhen took his Jupiler League goal tally to nine this season as he netted a 59th minute leveler in SC Charleroi’s 2-2 result against Waasland-Beveren on Saturday.
Osimhen has scored four times in his last nine appearances for the club in all competitions and continues to grow in confidence as he comes of age in Europe.
So far, the young forward has made 18 league appearances and his return of 9 goals; a ratio of 1 in every two games, is the third highest by any African in Belgium’s top flight division.
His goals have also been crucial for the club’s European football ambitions, with the latest helping them climb steadily up the Championship playoff zone.
Charleroi are 6th in the table tied on points with Anderlecht who are in 5th.
